After an hiatus of several months, as I did some re-writing and some additional research, I’m back on-line with “A Disappointing Life,” including a couple of new chapters. It begins in western Pennsylvania in the 1830s, takes in the Mexican War, the California Gold Rush, the early movement along the Oregon Trail, before ending up back in Pennsylvania, in time for the Civil War. That’s a lot of ground to cover, but I think I can keep it interesting.
I think the story will move along fairly quickly, now. I’ll post chapters as soon as I complete them.
